Most Disliked
As a relatively new establishment, Halal Spot may still have a few growing pains. Some patrons have noted that busy periods can lead to longer wait times, especially during lunch rush hours, with Thursday being the peak. A few customers have also mentioned that the menu might feel limited compared to larger chain restaurants, with only 34 dishes available. While the ambiance is praised, a few diners have expressed a wish for more seating capacity during peak hours, particularly post-gym when it can get crowded. A handful of reviews indicated that not all staff might possess the same level of enthusiasm as Masood, highlighting the variability in service during busier times. These are minor critiques, overshadowed by the overall positive dining experience.

The owner is wonderful, kind with very authentic Afghanistan, recipes shows a true love for his food and a passion in the kitchen he runs the business by himself cooking cleaning and serving the customers i came late night after hitting the gym next door to find a welcoming smile with wonderful service and a chance to have a good conversation handsome portions and adorable prices the food is just as good as everything else phenomenal there's a couple little things. The most places don't do in the recipe. They really just add the cherry on top.

Finally! Citrus Heights has great Greek food. Halal Spot Greek Food is a brand-new place with a brand-new owner, and you can taste the difference right away. This is not the same tired spot that was here before — everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. The owner, Masood, is a great guy and clearly passionate about bringing quality food to the community. The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and the service makes you feel welcome. It’s exactly what Citrus Heights has been missing, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you love Greek food (or just want something new and delicious), give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.
